Impreza WRX (GC8) type R Sti driven by Takumi Fujiwaras father, “Bunta Fujiwara”, from the manga Initial D in 1/18 scale.

Impreza made its debut as a new ride replacing the AE86 in the middle of the story. It became a hot topic among fans after suddenly appearing behind the AE86 and swiftly overtaking the main character, Takumi Fujiwara.

The model is equipped with genuine 16-inch 5-spoke wheels. Both the exterior and interior are faithfully recreated based on the actual vehicle, featuring the dedicated bumper, genuine side steps, genuine rear spoiler, single exhaust, genuine seats, and a MOMO-style steering wheel.

The model was meticulously verified using 3D scanning data from the real car to capture every detail of the manga version of the “Impreza WRX (GC8).”

With officially supervision by the INITIAL D licensor, we have carefully recreated the exterior and interior details down to the finest features.

The product comes with a figure of Bunta Fujiwara, the owner of the vehicle and Takumis father. The figure depicts Buntas trademark pose with a cigarette in his mouth and arms folded. A model resembling Buntas physique was chosen, and the figure was created based on 3D scan data.

The face was newly crafted from scratch, drawing on the expressions from the manga version, and each figure was hand-painted by a professional modeler.
